I first came to Laughing Dog Yoga because a friend who goes there said it would help me with the pain I was having after back surgery. What I didn’t realize was that yoga would not only help me with my back, but the yoga classes and all the teachers I have had at Laughing Dog would change my life. I remember after a class one day having the realization that Yoga was not just healing my body but healing my entire life. I noticed that while the physical workout was good for my body, I realized that yoga was something I needed for mind, and that yoga would help me heal my body and soul. As I became more comfortable with my yoga practice I began to try other classes learning more about yoga and myself. All of the classes at Laughing Dog have been instrumental in transforming my life. The changes I have seen in myself are in large part due to the teachers who brilliantly and intuitively combine the spiritual and physical aspects of yoga. No matter how I was feeling or what state of mind I was in when I arrived at the studio for a class, I always left feeling more healed and open in body and spirit. I feel like I have been awakened and have finally found a place where I feel I belong for the first time in my life. I count my blessings everyday that I found Laughing Dog Yoga.
