Yin Yoga is a slow practice complementing other more vigorous forms of yoga and helping to balance the common stressors of life.
This workshop is designed to support your body and mind as we move into the lighter and brighter days of Spring.
Spring is a time of renewal, after the long dark winter months, so we will explore mindful movement and poses that help us let go of stagnant, tired energy so we feel refreshed and rejuvenated.
Each Yin pose is held for 3-5 minutes in order to reach deeper tissues of the body and release tension. This helps create a sense of space and ease. Jenny will interweave teachings of Mindfulness and Traditional Chinese Medicine, along with many quiet moments to just be with our experience.
This workshop is open to everybody with an interest in creating more ease and peacefulness in their body and mind.
