Tarra Mitchell has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. A 500-hour RYT, she has studied extensively with yoga masters and private mentors to support her yoga practice and the research for her newly released book The Yoga of Leadership. She is inspired to show others how yoga can support happiness, health, and meaningful connection leading to self-realization. Tarra uses her deep understanding of traditional yoga to weave self-awareness, philosophy, conscious breathing, and strength into a strong, flowing yoga class and focuses cueing on safe alignment of poses. She believes yoga is yoga and meets practitioners exactly where they are. Her classes vary from week to week as she draws inspiration from many styles of the yoga movement practice.
