The practices of Yoga and Qi Gong are mutually supportive paths up the same mountain, from which the “one moon” of higher consciousness can be seen in all it’s brilliance. Strength and flexibility through yoga (ability to hold firm) and suppleness (ability to yield) through Qigong become a unified practice which balances yin and yang, heaven and earth, sun and moon, male and female.
Designed for yoga teachers, this workshop will explore how to bring the the art of Qi Gong into yoga classes, with tips, techniques, and specific exercises. The stand alone forms of the Eight Brocades and Swimming Dragon Qi Gong will be taught, along with breathing exercises to enhance the flow of life force in the body/mind
